Am I guaranteed game time?

Game time is always merit-based; however, depending on your pathway there are more guaranteed playing time options. You will have plenty of opportunities to play, whether with a local club or in friendly matches. Short-term pathways do not always guarantee games. The games program varies by specific program.

Do I need a visa?
Visa requirements differ based on the pathway destination, your nationality and other individual circumstances. We provide guidance on whether you need a visa and outline the necessary steps. All pathways we collaborate with have recommended lawyers to assist with this process if needed.
What insurance do I need?
All players are required to have appropriate medical insurance coverage. Some programs include this in their fees, while others partner with recommended providers. We also advise travel insurance for things medical insurance doesn’t cover.
What happens if I get injured?
Injuries are an unfortunate reality in a footballer’s career, its essential to have the right medical insurance. Injuries will be assessed on a case-by-case basis, and for long-term injuries, you may be eligible for a refund according to the program’s policy. Programs have the necessary staff to provide support and professional help if you are injured during your time with them.
How can I get from the airport to the program?
Most pathways provide airport transfers for players. Some may have specific arrival and departure date requirements, so ensure you understand these details before booking your travel.
What countries do you have partners in?
We continuously update our partners and add new locations. Currently, our program partners are located across England, Spain, and Italy.

Do I need to speak the local language?
Speaking the local language is not always essential depending on your chosen pathway. However, we always advise players to learn the basics or enrol in a local language course. We partner with language schools.
How much does it cost to work with NXT Footballer?
To maintain high standards, we work with a limited number of clients, we aim to support as many families and footballers as possible. Therefore, our services have no entry fee. Our agreements with pathways vary.
Can I get recruited without a football highlight video?
Yes and no! Not having a highlight video will significantly impact the number of pathway opportunities available to you. Usually, we invite players without highlights for short term pathways to get a closer look at their level before presenting long-term pathways.
