For players who want to experience the Spanish football environment before committing to a full season, or who need an honest external assessment of their current level, the NXT Footballer Showcase provides exactly that.
What It Is
The Showcase runs as a 2 or 4 week programme during the pre-season window with a La Liga partner club. Players train within the club environment, work alongside the technical staff, and go through structured sessions designed to assess where they actually sit relative to the demands of Spanish competitive football.
The 2 week option suits players who want an honest read on their level and a written assessment. The 4 week option suits players who want a more substantial integration window, more time with the coaching staff, and a fuller picture of life inside a Spanish football environment.
At the end of the programme every player receives written feedback from the coaching staff on their technical level, suitability for the Spanish game, and a clear recommendation on next steps. This written assessment is the most valuable output of the programme.
Why the Feedback Matters
Not the experience of training in Madrid, although that is genuinely excellent. The honest, specific, written assessment from Spanish coaches who know exactly what the Spanish football market requires.
Players who receive a positive assessment have a documented basis for the next conversation with a Spanish club. Players who receive critical feedback have specific, actionable information about what to develop before considering a full season.
